The City of Cassville is pleased to announce the start of construction on the 7th Street Bridge, marking an important step forward for our community. This project has been a priority for many years, and the beginning of construction represents real progress toward a safer and more reliable route for residents, businesses, and visitors.

City Administrator Richard Asbill shared his appreciation for the community’s support and patience throughout the planning process. “This is an exciting moment for Cassville. The 7th Street Bridge is a vital connection in our town and seeing work begin is a major milestone for our community,” Asbill said.

Mayor Jon Horner emphasized the significance of the project and the Council’s commitment to improving Cassville’s infrastructure.

“Our Council has been dedicated to making this project a priority because it strengthens our community and invests in our future. We are proud to see this work begin and grateful for everyone who helped bring us to this point,” Mayor Horner said.

Construction is now underway, and drivers are encouraged to use caution near the work zone and follow posted detours. The City will continue to share updates as the project progresses.
