Cassville Public Works Departments

Water Department

watertower

The City of Cassville has 43.97 miles of water main lines. We have six wells that feed out distribution system. Four wells pump 400 GPM, one pumps 500 GPM, with Well 4 (Wal-Mart) producing 700 GPM.
We have five water towers; four hold 150,000 gallons of water and one that holds 750,000 gallons that provides Cassville with 1,350,000 total gallons of storage capacity.
These feed four different water zones for our community.
These feed four different water zones for our community. They are supported with ten pressure pits. All of our water is treated with chlorine and is tested daily to ensure we meet all of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources requirements for clean safe drinking water. The Public Works Department travels 11.23 miles between well locations to complete the daily testing. We have 1759 meters that we manage with 325 fire hydrants that we support. In 2010 we pumped 191,394,000 gallons of water, and in 2011 we pumped 183,819,000, with our 2012 pumping at 174,151,700.

Consumer Confidence Report (CCR)

Every Community Water System is required by law to provide customers with an annual water quality report also known as a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). The Missouri Department of Natural Resources-Public Drinking Water Branch (MDNR-PDWB) has help produce a CCR specifically for the Cassville Missouri water system. Please click here for the Cassville Missouri CCR report for 2015, or you may type the direct address in your browser by going to http://www.dnr.mo.gov/ccr/MO5010144.pdf
